Roasted where it's grown.

How JUSTO works

Unlike other coffee brands, beans aren't exported green — they're roasted at origin, either by the farmers themselves or a local roastery, so more of what you pay stays in the region. This lets farmers and cooperatives earn more, shielded from global market swings, and tell their own story under their own brand.

Who we are

JUSTO is a Swiss-Peruvian social enterprise, born out of a research project on how coffee value chains could work for farmers. It showed that this requires justice in three aspects: distribution — equitable pay; fair procedures — control over prices; and authentic recognition — such as selling under their own brand.

The JUSTO co-founders: Diego Zavaleta and Samuel Brülisauer — during the research trip in 2024 where it all began.
